Waddy Munson
     Joseph Waddy Munson was born on 22 May 1861 in Bailey's Prairie, Brazoria County, Texas.1 He was the son of Mordello Stephen Munson and Sarah Kimbrough Armour. He married Mary Corinne 'Woodie' West, daughter of John Stephenson West and Mary Naille, on 25 June 1888 in Columbus, Colorado County, Texas.2 He died Sunday afternoon, 18 March 1917, in the backyard of his home in Angleton, Brazoria County, Texas, of a massive heart attack at age 55.3 He was buried in Angleton Cemetery.4Click to view image
     
     Waddy graduated from the University of Texas Law School and was a lawyer and judge all of his adult life.
