George Caldwell
     George Munson Caldwell was born on 14 May 1912 at the family ranch house, Sandy Point, Brazoria County, Texas.1,2,3 He was the son of Robert Milam Caldwell II and Sarah Kimbrough Munson.1 He married Dorothy Dell Wooley on 26 December 1946 in Brazoria County, Texas.4 He died on 15 August 2002 in Sandy Point, Brazoria County, Texas, at age 90.1,2 He was buried on 19 August 2002 in Forest Park East, Houston, Harris County, Texas.2
     
     George Munson Caldwell was named for George Poindexter Munson Sr. He was a peace officer for over forty years. He worked for Harris and Brazoria County Sheriff's Departments, the Houston Police Department and the Department of Public Safety as a Texas Ranger.2 He served in the Army Aircore in World War II as a link-trainer and firearms instructor.2
