     Rev. Thomas Prentice was born on 9 November 1702 in Cambridge.1 He married Irene Emery, daughter of Rev. Samuel Emery and Tabitha Littlefield, in 1730.1 He died on 17 June 1782 in Cambridge at age 79.1
     
     Rev. Thomas Prentice was graduated in 1726 at Harvard College. He was a minister in Arundel, now Kennebunkport, York County, Maine, in 1730, and installed as the colleague of Rev. H. Abbot in Charlestown, 31 October 1739. After the burning of Charlestown, 17 June 1775, he returned to Cambridge where he lived the remainder of his life.1
